I'm Ben Mackey.
I've spent my entire career as an eductor. I was a principal here in Dallas ISD at the School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) for six years. During my tenure, TAG was been named the #1 high school in the nation four times by U.S. News and World Report. In my experience as Principal at TAG and as a teacher in Mississippi, I’ve seen first-hand the amazing things that all our students are capable of accomplishing.
I’ve worked to build bridges across differences, authentically engage everyone in our community, foster a culture of love and respect for faculty and students alike, and be uncompromising in the pursuit of helping students achieve their fullest potential. I am proud to continue to serve students and families from across District 7 and Dallas ISD as your school board trustee.
